The Retail Credit Portfolio & MIS Manager at Bank ABC, based in the Head Office in Bahrain, is responsible for supporting business units in growing retail credit portfolios through the development and implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) and quantitative credit analysis. Reporting to the Group Head of Retail Banking, the role involves generating MIS for performance tracking, preparing loss forecasts, monitoring delinquency and loss trends, and identifying low-risk market segments. The manager will ensure compliance with CBB regulations, group policies, and local regulations, and provide feedback on credit criteria based on MI reviewed. Responsibilities also include overseeing credit underwriting through sample checks, supporting the implementation of retail credit projects such as LOS and scorecards, managing the collection system including strategies and MIS, and creating coding for tracking program viability. The role demands deep expertise in credit operations, credit cards, personal loans, installment loans, collection channels, and scoring systems. Advanced Excel and MS Office skills are essential, along with strong analytical and numerical skills, communication proficiency in English, Arabic, and French (preferred), and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight constraints.
