Operations Officer - Visa Direct Payment (Outsource)

The Operations Officer - Visa Direct Payment (Outsource) is responsible for handling all operational activities related to VISA Direct products including Cards, Wallets, and Accounts. The role requires execution of Bulk funds transfers, CB UAEFTS operations, and a wide range of centralized operational processes for both inward and outward funds transfers. The incumbent processes transactions for VISA Direct, Salary payments, Pension Payments, Book Transfers, and Bulk Payments. They must closely monitor the VISA Direct queue on the Payment Engine throughout the day, perform timely reconciliations, and address anomalies through daily EOD reconciliation. All VISA Direct queries received via email or other channels must be promptly addressed, and disputes requiring referral to the Chargeback team for VROL Dispute Referrals must be raised and tracked to closure. The officer handles queries and issues from the offshore team, prepares batches for transmittal, and performs QA activity on processed transfers. The role involves generating and maintaining MIS reports, updating SOPs and Policy documents, recording incidents on GRC, following up with ORM for incident closure, and updating monthly KRI on GRC. Additionally, the officer assists in performing RCSA control testing and processes dormant account placements or refunds to/from the Central Bank as needed. The role demands knowledge of Payments process and systems, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an understanding of end-to-end payment processes. Prior banking experience in Cross Border and Domestic Payments is essential, with 2â3 years of relevant experience required. A Bachelorâs degree is mandatory for this position, which is based in Dubai, Jabal Ali Free Zone.
