Job description
Responsible for the operation, support and maintenance in IBPS-Omniflow, Omniscan, Omnidocs, Nemf (Tablet), O2MS, iBPS, and other relevant Newgen applications. This includes second line support and supervising role on supported application areas. The role involves troubleshooting, vendor management, enhancements, deployment in test and production environments, impact analysis, incident reporting, SLA tracking, and delivery of change requests. The position requires 5x8 hours of weekly work with availability for 24/7 support if needed.

- Attending Service calls related to BPM, O2MS, Tablet & other Newgen Applications.
- Implementing CRās related to BPM, O2MS, Tablet & Other Newgen Applications.
- Enhancing the BPM, O2MS, Tablet & Other Newgen Applications with new functionality.
- Deploying and supporting applications on test and production environment.
- Able to solve all complexity applications related incidents.
- Liaising with other second line operations groups and development to solve incidents.
- Able to analyze impact of incident and communicate it to affected user areas and minimize it.
- Suggest solution to solve the root cause (the problem) of the incident.
- Understands monitoring concept, knows monitoring tools used for application and can define and interpret complex application alerts.
- Coordinating & Working together with application development team and vendors.
- Understands application support requirements towards developments and makes sure that they are acceptance tested.
- Conduct regression test for new developments for issues.
- Report incidents towards application vendor (third line support and maintenance) and any performance issue towards development, and tracks resolution status.
- Regularly checks performance of supported applications and areas if it keeps SLA.
- Delivering the CRās/projects as per the schedule.
- System Maintenance: All application maintenance is undertaken and executed.
- Ensure detailed impact analysis of any change request is carried out.
- Use the Bankās methodology for SDLC including software engineering tools.
- Create milestones to improve performance and coordinate with the Software Development Team.
- Coordinate with Project Managers for new Software Support related projects and services.
- Liaise with Project Manager for timely completion of tasks as per Bankās Quality Management System.
- Prepare documentation and maintain transparency.
- Maintain proper control for all Development within the agreed quality parameters.
Experience & skills
- Good academic Background with extensive domain knowledge of Software support.
- Masters in Computer Applications from reputed University.
- 6+ years of experience in a reputed organization in the field of Information Technology.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting & resolving problems related to Microsoft Windows Client and Server.
- Expertise in BPM support, development & management.
- Expertise in Java, Java Beans, Java Scripts, Servlets, struts framework & HTML.
- Expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL server & Oracle server.
- Good knowledge in requirement gathering from business users, preparing process design & preparing Software requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Good Knowledge in SDLC & programming standards.
- Good knowledge in code verification & validation.
- Good knowledge in current technology/industry standards.
- Managing BPM products and having good knowledge in BPM support.
- Strong technical, analytical & problem solving skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
