This high-impact role drives security governance and regulatory compliance for major tech and media events such as LEAP and Black Hat. Youâll implement and oversee cybersecurity protocols aligned with PDPL, NCA, and SAMA requirements, ensuring every product, platform, and event meets national standards while delivering secure digital experiences at scale.
Required skills
Regulatory compliance (PDPL, SAMA CSF, NCA, CITC)
Security operations & incident response (IRP, SIEM, alerts triage)
Vulnerability management (web, mobile, API scanning & remediation tracking)
Security architecture (network, AWS/Azure cloud, identity management)
Security tools deployment & tuning (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR, scanners)
Audit readiness & documentation (internal & external audits)
Security policy & SOP development
Vendor coordination & reporting verification
Cybersecurity training & phishing simulation
Cross-functional stakeholder reporting & dashboarding
Key responsibilities
- Lead PDPL implementation and maintain compliance documentation for SAMA CSF, NCA, and CITC
- Conduct vulnerability scans across digital platforms and ensure timely remediation
- Monitor daily security alerts via SIEM tools and manage incident response plans
- Advise on secure architecture across cloud and network environments
- Own all policy and procedure documentation and maintain audit trails
- Coordinate vendor-delivered security services and reports
- Run employee training and phishing simulations to raise cybersecurity awareness
- Deliver monthly compliance dashboards to leadership
Experience & skills
- Saudi National
- Bachelorâs in Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 3â5 years of cybersecurity experience, with 2+ years in KSA regulatory context
- In-depth knowledge of PDPL, SAMA CSF, and NCA control frameworks
- Project coordination and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Event or media industry exposure is a plus
