Job description
Shipa Ecommerce is seeking an Operations Lead to oversee the end-to-end logistics lifecycle, from data reception through parcel management to final delivery and client invoicing. This role requires hands-on leadership in courier, warehouse, and last-mile delivery operations, coupled with strategic planning, team management, and systems optimization. The candidate will collaborate across departments, ensure SLA compliance, and drive process efficiencies while providing detailed operational analytics to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day courier and logistics operations ensuring timely deliveries.
- Manage hub/warehouse operations including inbound, sorting, and dispatch processes.
- Draft SOPs and collaborate with the Tech team on system requirements and UX enhancements.
- Supervise and optimize last-mile delivery and route efficiency.
- Coordinate with clients, tech, vendors, and finance to meet SLAs.
- Train and manage delivery staff and operations support personnel.
- Monitor KPIs and initiate performance improvement strategies.
- Leverage logistics software and tools to track shipments and fleet operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and company standards.
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies through process improvement.
- Generate performance and KPI reports for senior management.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in a relevant field (Industrial Engineering, Logistics, etc.); MBA is a plus.
- 5ā7 years of logistics or courier experience, preferably in e-commerce.
- Experience with e-commerce platform integrations.
- Proficiency in logistics management tools and systems.
- Expertise in last-mile delivery and warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Understanding of regional logistics laws and regulations.
