About the role

Will be responsible for generating and driving revenue growth by selling logistics solutions, such as warehousing, transportation, and distribution services, to businesses. Need to expand the company's market presence by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new clients by understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored 3PL services.
  • Collection: Ensure timely collection of outstanding of all 3PL and 2PL customers as per the agreed terms.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, negotiations, and service delivery.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, ensuring the negotiation process aligns with company goals and policies and ensure closure of contracts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure smooth execution of logistics services and meet client expectations.
  • Performance Tracking: Track sales metrics, forecasts, and performance against targets, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's services.
  • Customer Retention: Manage relationships with existing clients, focusing on retention and upselling additional services.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL services.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strong negotiation and closing skills in 3PL business.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients at all levels both in English and Arabic
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze data, develop sales forecasts, and create strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Networking: Strong networking skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
