An opportunity has arisen for a Brand Digital Director to join Brand Marketing, Digital & Loyalty Team in Jumeirah Group & Corporate.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement Jumeirah’s global digital strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand, marketing, and commercial objectives.
- Drive collaboration between brand, eCommerce, IT, loyalty, revenue, and media teams to ensure seamless digital experiences.
- Oversee all aspects of media buying, content, analytics, and platform performance, ensuring measurable business impact and continuous optimization.
- Manage a high-performing digital team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results-driven execution to achieve business goals.
- Own and manage the digital marketing P&L, ensuring optimal budget allocation, commercial efficiency, and managing vendor relationships through RFPs.
- Oversee media agency relationships, lead media briefing processes, and monitor digital brand campaigns across paid channels in up to 12 key markets.
- Lead SEO strategy execution, collaborate with agencies to improve organic search visibility, and develop strategic partnerships with key media players like Google, Meta, and Snapchat.
- Drive strategic execution for Jumeirah.com and Jumeirah One App, focusing on feature prioritization, bug fixes, performance optimization, and platform scalability.
- Oversee content strategy across all digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency, managing multilingual content, and maintaining Jumeirah’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by analyzing performance metrics, optimizing dashboards, and providing actionable insights across media, websites, and guest engagement.
Requirements
- Over 12 years in digital marketing, media buying, eCommerce, and digital transformation, with expertise in luxury, travel, or high-end consumer brands, including a proven track record of driving digital revenue growth.
- Experienced in leading large, cross-functional teams, managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, and holding P&L responsibility, while collaborating at the C-suite level and managing external media/tech partners.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, SEO, digital advertising, content localization, conversion rate optimization, and digital analytics, with a strong focus on acquisition channels and remarketing.
- Highly analytical and commercially focused, skilled at turning data insights into strategic actions to optimize performance and revenue growth, ensuring a balance between brand objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Well-versed in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS integration, and leading web analytics projects (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio), with a drive for continuous innovation and best-in-class digital experiences.
- A strategic leader with strong problem-solving abilities, adept at balancing hands-on execution with strategic foresight, motivating high-performing teams, and effectively communicating in English under pressure across multiple large-scale projects.
