Assistant Manager – Trade Finance

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure submission of all MIS as required by the management. Be proactive in a wide range of customer enquiries and issues, resolving these or escalating as appropriate
• Coordination with business, credit, product and compliance teams to resolve transaction discrepancies in a timely manner with effective Problem-Solving capabilities
• Ensure nil occurrence of operational losses due to errors or lapse in laid down controls
• Comprehensive understanding of trade processing systems, products and services
• Manage MIS / Recon for the trade operations unit and handles internal and regulatory reporting requirements are fully adhered
• Monitor and manage risks associated with trade operations, including documentation, operational, regulatory and compliance risks
• Manage the various operational risks within laid down procedures. Identify potential risks areas and implement the proposed solutions
• Perform checking, authorizing of import, exports transactions related to documents drawn under LC, Payments, collections, discounting, Open account loans or settlements as may be required
• Delivering transactions in TAT/SLA as agreed and produce results efficiently as expected
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle their responsibilities
• Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and professional development within the team.
