About the role
he PMO Manager (Project Management Office Manager) is a leadership position responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery across NEOM. This role entails establishing project management standards and best practices, leading a team of project managers, and ensuring alignment with NEOM's strategic goals. The PMO Manager collaborates with stakeholders to facilitate communication throughout the project lifecycle, identifies risks and opportunities, and drives continuous improvement in project performance. Reporting to the Executive Director of Project Management, this role is crucial for fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of professionals across various disciplines.
- Foster an Agile working environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Support team development through mentorship, clear goal setting, and performance management.
- Portfolio and Project Management
- Oversee the management of departmental projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Develop and maintain project tracking systems, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.
- Coordinate resource allocation and planning across the department to optimize efficiency.
- Reporting and Data Analytics
- Establish and manage data collection, analysis, and reporting systems to support informed decision-making.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards for real-time performance monitoring.
- Provide actionable insights through data analytics to drive operational and strategic improvements.
- Document Control and Content Creation
- Oversee document control processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and ISO requirements.
- Manage the preparation, review, and distribution of high-quality documentation, presentations, and reports.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in all departmental documentation.
- Technology and Digitization
- Drive the adoption and implementation of digital tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the management and optimization of technology platforms within the department.
- Graphic Design and Communication Support
- Supervise the production of visually engaging presentations, reports, and articles to support internal and external communication efforts.
- Ensure alignment with NEOM’s branding and communication guidelines.
- Quality Partnerships and Procurement
- Manage consultant contracts, including mobilization, demobilization, and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate procurement activities to support departmental objectives, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation
- Contribute to the development of departmental strategies and annual plans.
- Monitor the execution of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide support for long-term planning, forecasting, and resource sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in project management, quality management, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in portfolio management, data analytics, and advanced reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic, Agile environment.
- Experience with digital transformation and technology management initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Relevant Project Management, Quality Management, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
