About the role
KBR is looking for Senior Civil & Structural Engineer for a PMC project to be based in– Abu Dhabi UAE
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in analysis and design of steel structures, concrete structures, equipment foundations (static & dynamic), pipe-racks and technological structures
- In depth knowledge of building design (both conventional and blast resistant)
- Knowledge of soil mechanics, earthworks, geotechnical and foundation engineering
- Ability to assess and check adequacy of existing structures (pipe racks, buildings, equipment foundations, etc.)
- Knowledge of design of roads, paving, culverts & bridges
- Understanding and design knowledge of underground drainage network
- Hands on experience in using industry standard software such as STAAD PRO, ETABS, MAT3D, FDN3D, PROKON, AUTOCAD, etc.
- Knowledge of national/international codes & standards and industry practices ( ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS, BS EN, ASTM, ADIBC, IBC, PIP, SHELL DEP, etc.)
- Knowledge of ADNOC Specifications (AGES, DGS) is preferred
Requirements
- Minimum Overall 15+ years of oil & gas experience.
- Must have at least 3 to 5 Years experience working in SRU and Gas Processing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a MUST.
- FEED experience is a must.
- PMC experience is an added advantage.
- GCC experience required.
